Since 2011 LIMA has provided performance workshops, platforms, shows and opportunities for Pacific artists to gain more experience in diverse performing fields, innovative shows and festivals. LIMA has a foundation based on producing work that is about Pasifika voices and stories being told in the general public, reflected and valued in Aotearoa. As a vulnerable people across all the areas of need in Aotearoa LIMA sees their work as benefitting not just one artist but all Pacific peoples to be able to see their stories, faces and voices out in general theatres, performance spaces, online and screen.
